Cons: May have serivce outrage time.
I personally like this one mainly because of its provider (=less privacy concern). In addition, IMAP support is much better than POP3, IMHO.

Cons: No IMAP, Ad in emails will come. I’m not sure of the provider’s reputation.

Pros: 10MB, IMAP, advanced spam filter, auto-retrieval of other emails & hotmail
Cons: No SMTP, forwarding limited bandwidth (40M/month).
Sorry this one has no SMTP. But its filter allows me to parse the full header. And it can automatically retrieve emails from other POP3 and hotmail addresses.

Webmail, POP or IMAP access, SMTP for sending mail, 10 MB mail storage, and most important; Spam Filter by authorization list. People sending email to you can self authorize depending on the level of security you choose. Reply to authorization request only, reply with your full name, reply with PIN.
Check Outgoing mail server requires authentication, then check Use same settings as my incoming mail server. User name is your full email addr including domain.
