Naudojimas:

  1. Veiksmas vyko praeityje nenurodytu laiku. Naudojama su zodziais "ever", "never", "yet", "already" "many times", "so far" ir t.t. Taip pat kai veiksmas vyko kelis kartus ir dar gali pasikartoti.
    Svarbu: "In the last year/month/week" tik patikslina, taciau nenurodo tikslaus laiko, todel taip pat naudojama.

Pavyzdys:

She has never seen that movie.
I have been to England in the last year.(t.y. per pastarasias 365 dienas)
My mum hasn’t washed the dishes yet.
The writer, who has written three novels, lives in Germany.
(plg.:The writer, who wrote three novels, died in 1945.)

Naudojimas:

  1. Praeityje prasidejes veiksmas, vykstantis iki dabar(su non-continuous veiksmazodziais). Naudojama su zodziais "since", "for".

I have had a cold since Tuesday.(As dar vis sergu.)
She has been in England for six months.(Ji vis dar Anglijoje.)

Naudojimas:

  1. Praeityje prasidejes veiksmas, vykstantis iki dabar(su continuous veiksmazodziais). Naudojama su zodziais "since", "for".

Pavyzdys:

James has been teaching since 1978.(Jis vis dar mokytojas.)
They have been working at that company for three years.(Jie vis dar dirba toje pacioje kompanijoje.)

Naudojimas:

  1. Neseniai vykes veiksmas - naudojama su zodziais "recently", "lately". Taip pat, kai matome vykusio veiksmo pasekmes.

I have been feeling sick lately.
Why are you dirty? -I have been fixing the car.
